ELDT HAZMAT

Course Description:
As of February 7th, 2022, getting the HazMat endorsement for the first time, requires completing Entry-Level Drivers Training (ELDT). This online course is for individuals looking to apply for their commercial learner’s permit with a HazMat endorsement or add a HazMat to their existing CDL. Western Iowa Tech is an FMCSA approved ELDT provider.
Important Information:
· This course is entirely online and must be completed within 30 days, starting at the time of registration.
· Course curriculum consists of 12 chapters of material and each chapter has a quiz.
· You must get 80% or higher on each quiz to pass and will get four attempts on each quiz.
