Course Description:
The American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider course prepares healthcare professionals and students to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies. Designed for nurses, EMS personnel, allied health professionals, and students entering clinical programs, this instructor-led course emphasizes high-quality CPR and effective team-based resuscitation.
Participants will learn adult, child, and infant CPR, proper AED use, relief of choking, and critical communication skills for single-rescuer and multi-rescuer scenarios. Training follows the most current AHA guidelines and includes hands-on practice to build confidence and competence in real-world situations.
Upon successful completion of the course and skills assessment, participants receive a two-year American Heart Association BLS Provider certification.
