Location: Sioux City, Iowa WITCC campus Room L423, park in parking lot 3, and use entrance 11. Room L423 will be the first door to the right after you enter 2 sets of exterior doors.

Course Description:
This course will introduce the students to the fundamentals of hydraulics. Hydraulic topics covered in this course include components of hydraulic systems, power units, basic schematics, actuators, pumps, relief, reducing and sequencing valves as well as hydraulic metering. Students will also study the principles of hydraulic pressure, force and flow. This course emphasizes fluid power safety as students will work with and troubleshoot live hydraulic circuits.
