Industrial Motor Control
Location: Sioux City, Iowa WITCC campus Room B224, park in parking lot 2B, walk across the road and use entrance 8. Room B224 will be the first door to the right after you enter 2 sets of exterior doors.

Course Description:
In this industrial motor control course students will explore the concepts of voltage, current, and resistance through Ohm’s law and the use of series and parallel circuits. Students will also learn how to read, use, and create logic diagrams for building and troubleshooting circuits. Solenoids, transformers, and AC motors will be discussed along with the construction and operation of manual and magnetic motor starters. Students will design and construct several control circuits including reversing motor circuits and timer and counter circuits.
