Programmable Logic Controller
Location: Sioux City, Iowa WITCC campus Room B224, park in parking lot 2B, walk across the road and use entrance 8. Room B224 will be the first door to the right after you enter 2 sets of exterior doors.
Start Date: July 13, 2026
End Date: July 17, 2026
Hours: Mon-Thur 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Friday 8:00 am – 12noon
Course Description:
This one-week PLC course blends classroom instruction with hands-on lab work to build a solid foundation in industrial automation. Students will learn how Programmable Logic Controllers operate, practice programming using Allen-Bradley and Schneider Electric platforms, and work through real troubleshooting scenarios. By the end of the week, participants will understand core PLC functions, basic ladder logic, I/O structure, and how to apply PLCs in common industrial control systems.
